A level English Literature Journey's End talk

Following a screening of the new release of Journey's End last Friday, A level English Literature students had the opportunity after School on Tuesday to attend a behind-the-scenes information talk about the new film. Mr Simon Reade, the film's producer and the man responsible for writing this screenplay based on R.C. Sheriff's highly acclaimed drama and novel, provided students with first-hand information about the adaptation process, filming process and alternative interpretations of the film.

As this is a set text for the final A level examination, this was an excellent opportunity for Clifton High’s A level English students and Mr Reade has even offered to provide further responses to additional questions that students may have in the future.
