Animal Action Workshop

Last Wednesday, Mrs Gail Needham from Animal Action gave a thought-provoking assembly to pupils in Years 7-11 on commercial factory farming and its impact on animal welfare, encouraging pupils to think about the sources of the meat and animal-based products they consume.

A number of geography pupils from Years 7 and 10 were then invited to join in with a workshop looking at animal welfare, the impacts of intensive farming and the knock-on effects of personal action and food choices.
