Ape Alliance Science Café and Conservation Workshops

On Wednesday, Ape Alliance visited Clifton High School to host a Science Café and interactive workshops on the topic of primate conservation.

The thought-provoking event provided pupils with an exciting opportunity to learn about the biology of primates and the actions we can take to protect these magnificent beasts and their habitats.

During the interactive workshops, pupils used VR headsets and the Ape Alliance app, ApeApp VR, taking a virtual journey through the habitats of four species of great apes. Pupils experienced 360 degree panoramas and were also able to interact with their surroundings to learn more about the conservation challenges apes face in the wild.
