The National Trust teaches pupils apple pressing

Pupils at Clifton High School made their own delicious apple juice this week, using an apple press The National Trust, Leigh Woods brought into school. Pupils were encouraged to bring along apples that they had picked themselves to encourage them to use seasonal, locally grown fruit.

Everyone had a wonderful time learning how to operate the press and working together to make juice to take home. Thank you to The National Trust for kindly bringing along their apple press!
