Moving to secondary school is a big step for any child, one which is exciting and challenging as a pupil meets new teachers, makes new friends and embarks on new subjects. By the time a pupil leaves the Senior School at the end of Year 13, he or she will have matured from a child to a young adult in an environment where teaching structures encourage all to resist stereotyping.
The task for the school throughout these crucial years is to provide the right balance between challenge and support so that all pupils achieve their best academically and grow into people who know they have much to give the world. Our pupils are intelligent, able and creative individuals who work hard to achieve excellent results in and out of the formal classroom.
The school day passes swiftly with six 50 minute lessons. Lunchtimes are busy with music lessons, clubs, rehearsals - or just socialising. Many also choose to stay for after school clubs, sports practices or fixtures. ...life at Clifton High is never dull!
You will read more about all the opportunities Clifton High offers in the other pages on this site but there is no substitute for coming to see us and to sample the atmosphere for yourself.
