The buzz of activity that is so evident at Clifton High School comes not only from its timetabled lessons but also from the many other activities that crowd the day.

There are clubs and societies which cater for the musical, for those who like sport and drama, for girls who enjoy the visual arts and like making things and for those who like to pit their wits against each other in chess or debate. The clubs range from sports to languages, science to art. The activities take place mainly at lunchtime and after school and are run by staff, senior students and parents.
