Clifton High School provides a rich co- educational experience in the heart of Clifton. The girls and boys work in characterful, bright classrooms in beautiful Victorian buildings and play in the cheerful grounds and on the large lawn - a revelation in a built up area. Visitors often comment on the sense of space and light on our site. Our great sports facilities at Coombe Dingle (BS9 2BJ) as well as the on site pool and tennis courts provide the location for home fixtures.

Just across the Downs from our site is Brunel's historic suspension bridge and the shops and cafés of Clifton Village. Along the road in one direction is Bristol Zoo, in the other Clifton Cathedral and just down the hill is The University of Bristol.

Thanks to our location we are able to call on visiting speakers from the Universities of Bristol and of the West of England, British Aerospace, the BBC unit where the natural history unit is based and local hospitals and law practices. We make the most of all the opportunities the city offers us to make education lively, fun and relevant.
