Regular visits to the local area and further afield take place in both the Nursery and Reception throughout the year and further enhance the curriculum. Clifton Village is a wonderful resource and the children benefit enormously from the expertise within the community. Local dentists, doctors, builders, café owners, estate agents, post office workers, chefs and hairdressers have visited us or allowed us to visit them. A trip to the theatre is a highlight of the school calendar as are visits to the nearby Bristol Zoo.
Parents are warmly invited to visit and speak to the children and we are enormously grateful to the many parents who have shared their expertise with us.
Raising money for charity generates much enthusiasm and creativity; the children enjoy the opportunity to participate in events for local and international charities and last year the school raised over £5,000.
Our extra-curricular activities add much to the life of the school and bring benefits to the individual and the school community.

The Foundation Stage was inspected by Ofsted in 2008 and was adjudged to be "Outstanding" in every area - an accolade achieved by only 2-3% of settings nationally.
