In Years 3-6, children acquire and apply knowledge and understanding of Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and Sikhism and how these religions influence individuals, communities, society and the world. Lessons are given fortnightly and are supported by daily assemblies which are based on Christian principles, beliefs from other cultures and the P.S.H.C.E. curriculum. As well as learning about religions, children also develop their ability to respond to what they have learnt.
Children participate in the Lower School Harvest Festival and the Advent Celebration at Clifton Cathedral and we are visited each week by a lay worker from Christ Church Clifton. There is a weekly Christian club, "Check It Out" for interested children and hymns are learnt during a Junior Singing session.
