At AS we study child development, memory, factors in stress and its management, the power of social influence, abnormality and research methods.
At A2 we choose topic-based options such as schizophrenia, which deepen our understanding of different psychological approaches, giving us a spherical view of psychology...skills such as interviewing, conducting surveys and experiments, data collection, analysis and understanding how reports are written, are also studied.
Throughout both the AS and A2 courses, knowledge and understanding of theories, terminology and concepts are the required skills as are analysis and evaluation of the theories, studies and methods used in research.
