Scholarship Fund

19th May 2013
Clifton High School Scholarship Fund

Clifton High School is proud to celebrate over 130 years of providing education to children in Bristol.  It is now entering a new era and would like to invite you to join it in ensuring that we continue to provide enriched education to both boys and girls in the coming decades.

While the school continues to thrive, providing an excellent all round education to the children of Bristol and beyond, it wishes to expand this opportunity to those who may not feel that they can afford to attend a school such as ours.

With this in mind, the school is establishing a Scholarship Fund in order to allow more children to attend the school free or at heavily subsidised rates; and to support minority subjects such as Greek.

The fund has been given a wonderful send off with a gift from the estate of an Old Girl of over £100,000 and many donations from Old Girls of the School.  This can be the cornerstone on which to build so that we are able to commit to parents to see their child through their time at Clifton High School.

Clifton High School is a registered charity, so donations are subject to gift aid which increases the amount the school receives by 25%. This is a tax efficient way for the school to raise additional funds.
