Depending on where you were born, you may have to apply for a visa to study in the UK - for example, if you are a non-European Union citizen. To find out more about whether you need a visa, please visit the UK Border Agency website http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/ Please note that the school cannot apply for a visa on your behalf - you must do it yourself.
To apply for your visa, you may need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number, which we will give you. To do this, we will need the following details from you:
- Your name as it appears on your passport, and any given names
- Your full home address
- Your date of birth, and the place where you were born
- Your nationality
- Your passport number, together with a copy of the photo page
- Full contact details of your guardian in the UK (for more information, please see the following page, ‘Guardians')
