Duke of Edinburgh's Award - Bronze Practice Expedition

A group of Year 10 pupils recently set out on their first Duke of Edinburgh's expedition.

During this practice session for the Bronze medal they encountered the challenges of the ever changing British weather during two days of walking and an overnight camp.

The group rose to the challenges presented and, after three months of volunteering combined with the physical and skill based practices they have carried out, they now feel prepared and ready for their assessed expedition in June, which will see them achieve their Bronze Award.

Well done to all of those who took part.
