Green Flag Success

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Keep Britain Tidy, Eco Schools Green Flag Award. We are the first all-through school in Bristol to receive the award and only the 8th School in the local area.

The award builds on the Silver status we were awarded last year and is due to the hard work and commitment of the boys and girls of Clifton High School especially those on the Eco-Committee in Eco Club and our Eco Warriors. The boys and girls were guided and supported in this initiative by Mrs Laura Giles, Head of Geography and Mr Tom Walmsley our Environmental Lead.

This is the highest award given by Eco Schools: the international body assessing schools for their environmental credentials. The assessor was just as impressed by the quality of work as the quantity since it covered Nursery School to Year 13.

The Green Flag status is a huge achievement for Clifton High and demonstrates our commitment to environmental issues.
