Leonardo da Vinci Inspires a German Lesson

Clifton High’s sponsored exhibition at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Leonardo; A Life in Drawing, inspired an interesting activity in a Year 7 and 8 German lesson on Thursday.

The first exercise of the class tested the pupils’ vocabulary and knowledge of colours and numbers in German, with a ‘colour by number’ of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa.

The pupils had ten minutes to create their ‘Meisterwerke’ and learnt a lot of new German words along the way.  Gut gemacht, Year 7 and 8!
