Marquee Week

The annual Marquee Week celebrations took place from the 7th - 14th October. For a programme please click here. Daily updates about the performances and activities which took place in the Marquee are also here for you to enjoy.

The week is so important for our children, as it gives them the opportunity to develop confidence, work together and have a truly enriched education. The week is also important for the CHS community, its' events bring everyone together - staff, current students, past students and parents.

Highlights included:-

‘The CHS Community Rock Choir’ launch on Tuesday 7th October. 

Junior School Shakespeare Production Taster ‘Macbeth’ and Years 3—6, Senior Orchestra and selected vocalists present Renaissance music on Wednesday 8th October.

Senior School Shakespeare performances of ‘The Comedy of Errors’ on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th October.

'Massacre in the Deep', a Science Cafe talk with Mr Tom Walmsley, CHS Lead Specialist on the Environment and Photography, on Friday 10th October.

Parents' Association 'A Gustatory Journey into Wine and Cheese' on Saturday 11th October, this was a sell-out event.

'An Evening with Dr Phil Hammond' - an NHS doctor, journalist, broadcaster, speaker, campaigner and comedian - on Tuesday 14th October.
