Nursery School Opening

Over the summer Clifton High School relocated and refurbished the Nursery School. There are now two bright, airy and spacious classrooms, each for eighteen children. Also, we have a lovely garden with plenty of space for the children to play, read and exercise.

The Nursery School boys and girls have been happily settling into their new environment over the first few weeks of term, so yesterday we felt it was time to celebrate the new facilities with an open event for the parents and children. Parents were invited to join the children for the first part of their day at school, and children were invited to bring their favourite toy as a stimulus for their learning for the whole day.

Parents were also given a tour of the Nursery School and the rest of the school site, and socialised over refreshments. Everyone had a lovely time, particularly as the sun was shining. We would like to thank everyone who attended and hope you enjoyed having the chance to meet other parents, to meet the staff, and to gain an insight into your child’s typical day at Clifton High School.
