Year 6 pupils recently undertook the Primary Maths Challenge.
This national, fun competition is much more than a forty-five minute Mathematics test; it aims to engage and excite children with the subject and to think outside the box and develop problem solving skills. The children will now have their challenges marked and will be awarded with either a gold, silver, bronze or participation certificate.
For those who perform exceptionally well, they will potentially be chosen to compete in a bonus round in early 2020. This is a worldwide competition, where gold, silver and bronze medals can be won.
Well done to all the children who have taken part, we look forward to sharing more on this soon.
