Rose Day

On Saturday 21st June, on a glorious summer day, we held our annual Rose Day service at Bristol Cathedral. This is always a well-loved and special day for the Clifton High School Community, this year made all the more special as it included a farewell to Mr Tony Richards, Deputy Head of School. The service includes our annual Prize-giving ceremony and this year we were delighted that almost 50% of our Year 13 students were awarded prizes for academic excellence. The speeches and readings were of the highest standard and the musical performances were truly outstanding. A truly memorable day.

Copies of Trevor Haddrell’s beautiful engraving  of Clifton High School are now available to purchase from the School Office. The engravings were used for the front cover of this year’s invitation and Order of Service for Rose Day and samples are available to view in the School Office.

The engravings are black and white and details are as follows:
Unframed (measuring approximately 25cm x 57cm): £75
Framed (measuring approximately  30cm x 60cm and framed in a simple black frame): £95
