On Saturday 21st June, on a glorious summer day, we held our annual Rose
Day service at Bristol Cathedral. This is always a well-loved and
special day for the Clifton High School Community, this year made all
the more special as it included a farewell to Mr Tony Richards, Deputy
Head of School. The service includes our annual Prize-giving ceremony
and this year we were delighted that almost 50% of our Year 13 students
were awarded prizes for academic excellence. The speeches and readings
were of the highest standard and the musical performances were truly
outstanding. A truly memorable day.
Copies of Trevor Haddrell’s beautiful engraving of Clifton High
School are now available to purchase from the School Office. The
engravings were used for the front cover of this year’s invitation and
Order of Service for Rose Day and samples are available to view in the
School Office.
