Clifton High School's PE Department visited St. Mary’s Catholic School in Bradley Stoke on Wednesday to deliver a Tumble Track Masterclass to Year 6 pupils.
Mr Bitterlin and Mrs Reid led a gymnastics tumbling session for thirty Year 6 pupils using the tumble track purchased by the Clifton High School Parent’s Association. The pupils learnt about a number of different gymnastics movements ranging from forward rolls to round offs and were challenged to suit their ability and previous experience.
Eve, Sophie, Megan and India from Year 8 helped with coaching, using the skills they have been developing in Tumble Club before performing a display of their own tumbling. The tumble track is regularly used at Clifton High School as part of the PE provision and will also feature at the Easter Sports Camps sessions.
