Under 11 Team ranked second in the UK in British Schools Biathlon Final

On Saturday 25th March, nine pupils from Clifton High School travelled to Crystal Palace in London to participate in The British Schools Biathlon Final. This prestigious event takes place once a year where the best in Britain compete in a swim and running event with over 200 athletes in each age group. Congratulations to Evie, Phoebe, Tilly, Olivia, Martha, Megan, Sophie, Lucy and Eleanor who all competed. These girls were a credit to Clifton High School, not only in their outstanding individual performances but in the attitude and team spirit that they demonstrated, cheering each other on and celebrating everyone’s successes. The Under 11 category featured four athletes from Clifton High School, and as such the School was entered into the team event, where the top three point scorers from each school are added together. Our U11 team achieved an outstanding 2nd place which means we were ranked the 2nd school in the whole of Great Britain for the U11 age group. This is a fantastic achievement, beating prestigious sporting schools from all over the country!
