World Challenge Training Expedition

Earlier this month the 10 pupils from Year 11 and the Sixth Form who are undertaking this year’s World Challenge expedition to Madagascar, set out on their first training weekend in the Forest of Dean.

This full weekend of training exercises saw the pupil’s demonstrate their superb aptitude to learn the novel skills needed to thrive in a different environment. All of this will help them when they embark on the 23 day Madagascan expedition in the summer of 2019; here they will navigate and trek new terrains and help develop and work on local projects.

We wish the group the best of luck with their continuing preparations and training and congratulate them on acting as excellent ambassadors for the school on this expedition.
