Year 10 Duke of Edinburgh's Qualifying Expedition

From Saturday 17th to Sunday 18th June, 48 Year 10 pupils participated in the challenging Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award qualifying expedition to the Cotswolds.

Following a practice expedition in May and extensive training to prepare for this assessed event, Year 10 pupils walked over 20km over the course of the weekend, demonstrating brilliant fitness, team work skills and perseverance.

Clifton High School is proud to have achieved 52 Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards in 2016/17, one of the highest results across schools in Bristol, and we hope to continue this excellent standard.

We would like to congratulate all the Year 10 pupils who took part as they were excellent ambassadors of the School.
