Year 11 and 13 Geography visit, Slapton, Devon

Our GCSE and A level geographers recently took a residential field trip to Slapton, Devon. The sun shone and the pupils were enthusiastic, hardworking and spirited throughout. The visit was a great opportunity for pupils to learn about geography fieldwork techniques as well as to enhance their understanding of river processes. The field centre teachers commented on what impressive geographical knowledge pupils had and how attentive to their learning they were throughout their stay. Over the coming weeks, the department looks forward to working with pupils as they analyse the data they have collected. We are sure that they will produce some work to be proud of. Well done to all of the geographers that attended.
