On Tuesday 19th September, Year 13 historians travelled to the University of West England Library to complete research for their A level coursework.
At A level, all students are required to produce an extended piece of academic writing on a topic of their choice over one hundred years of American history and this trip was important for accessing resources. All the students were given an extensive tour of the library and a tutorial on how to use the library and its search engine.
The Clifton High School students all left the university with books, journal articles and a deeper understanding of their chosen topics. They were a credit to our Sixth Form and could have easily been mistaken for university students during their visit!
