Year 13 Biology and Geography Visit

On Wednesday 4th October, Year 13 Biology and Geography students attended a whole day workshop at the Folly Farm Centre to support their A level studies. Students spent the morning studying two different types of woodland, investigating the abiotic and biotic factors affecting plant growth.

The afternoon was spent analysing the data collected using a variety of statistical tests. This was a very valuable learning experience for all involved and gave students the opportunity to experience life as a practical biologist or geographer.
