The Year 2 children enjoyed a foraging feast at their recent session at Forest School on Monday. During the session, children made garlic flat breads using wild garlic or mustard that they had foraged from the woods. A lot of kneading was required to get the desired texture for the flatbreads!
After collecting firewood and grading it into different widths, the children cooked the flatbreads over the flames. All of the children are looking forward to making elderflower cordial in their final session of the year.
