Year 3 - Greenpeace Ambassador Visit

The children in Year 3 have been learning about different environments and the impact that humans have on our planet, in particular the problems associated with plastic entering water systems.

Richard Baxter, a representative from Greenpeace, visited the children and told them all about what the charity does and how small changes can make a big difference to the big issues they had been learning about.

He shared some tips that they could use to help reduce their plastic use, such as reusing bags and using soap instead of shower gel.

The children were keen to make these swaps and eager to encourage their friends to do the same!
