Year 5 and 6 Residential Visit to Mill on the Brue

Last week, Year 5 and 6 children travelled to Mill on the Brue Outdoor Activity Centre in Somerset for their annual residential visit.

During the three days, children participated in a range of activities, including: climbing, grass tobogganing, water slide, canoeing, assault courses, challenge tracks and the favourite for the visit – the 240 metre-long zip wire! Children also participated in the ‘Zero Heroes’ initiative run by the activity centre to help reduce food waste and everyone completed the three day visit with no food wasted!

The weather was beautiful over the three days and all children were a credit to Clifton High School. A thoroughly enjoyable visit which helped develop and encourage teamwork, problem solving, independence and adaptability!
