On Tuesday 16th January, all Year 9 pupils travelled to the Imperial War Museum for an educational visit organised by the History Department.
Pupils spent time exploring the World War I exhibit and others before taking part in an educational session about the Holocaust. Both world wars and the Holocaust are covered in the Year 9 history curriculum and so the visit was crucial in developing knowledge and empathy for these complex topics.
Year 9 pupils showed real maturity and interest in a subject which can evoke strong emotions and everyone behaved impeccably. All the museum staff and Clifton High School staff were impressed with the pupils and their attitude to learning.
