Sue Archer nominated for teaching award - 25/06/2012

We are delighted to announce that Mrs Sue Archer has been nominated for the 2013 Pearson Teaching Awards, through this year's Thank a Teacher initiative. She was left messages from students about her Biology teaching and commitment to excellent pastoral care. These messages have become nominations for the annual awards scheme. She joins Mr Manolis Psarros, who was also nominated this year in the same way for his Classics teaching. Whatever the outcome of the judging process, we are enourmously proud of her achievement: what fantastic testimony to the outstanding teaching here!

Here's a selection of the great comments made about her:

I wouldn't love Biology as much if it wasn't for her... She always has time for me to talk about things, no matter how big or small - Olivia Sherman

Inspired me to take Biology at uni at to become a teacher... every lesson is different and fun - Vikki Jones
